Pure Maple Syrup from Canada

Maple Bacon Grissini

  • 12 breadsticks or soup sticks
  • 12 pieces of streaky bacon
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup from Canada


  1. Wrap each breadstick with bacon
  2. With a brush, lather the bacon portion of each stick with pure maple syrup.
  3. Preheat oven to 180 Celsius
  4. On a wire rack, add the breadsticks and place in the oven
  5. Cook until the breadsticks are caramelised brown but not burnt—at least 8 to 10 minutes
