Maple Apple and Pineapple Crumble

For the crumble: 

  • Maida sieved pinch of salt 300 gm
  • Pure maple syrup 100 ml
  • Butter cubed at room temperature 200 gm
  • Knob of butter for greasing

For the filling:

  • Apple pieces 300 gm
  • Chopped pineapple ripe 300 gm
  • Pure maple syrup 4 tbsp
  • Oats 1 tbsp
  • A pinch of round elaichi powder
  • A pinch of salt


  • In a bowl mix the butter, maple syrup and maida with your fingertips and mix until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs
  • Heat the oven to 190C 
  • Mix the fruits, pure maple syrup, elaichi and salt
  • Grease a baking dish with butter pour the fruit mixture into the dish 
  • Top with the crumble mixture and baked for 40 minutes until the top is golden brown and crispy
  • Enjoy with ice cream
