INGREDIENTS:
For the crumble:
- Maida sieved pinch of salt 300 gm
- Pure maple syrup 100 ml
- Butter cubed at room temperature 200 gm
- Knob of butter for greasing
For the filling:
- Apple pieces 300 gm
- Chopped pineapple ripe 300 gm
- Pure maple syrup 4 tbsp
- Oats 1 tbsp
- A pinch of round elaichi powder
- A pinch of salt
METHOD:
- In a bowl mix the butter, maple syrup and maida with your fingertips and mix until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs
- Heat the oven to 190C
- Mix the fruits, pure maple syrup, elaichi and salt
- Grease a baking dish with butter pour the fruit mixture into the dish
- Top with the crumble mixture and baked for 40 minutes until the top is golden brown and crispy
- Enjoy with ice cream
