Maple Thekua

INGREDIENTS:

  • 200 g flour
  • 20 g ghee
  • 150 g Almonds and cashew nuts chopped well
  • ½ cup pure maple syrup
  • 250 ml vegetable cooking oil

METHOD:

  • In a bowl mix almonds and cashew nuts along with ghee and flour. Mix well and slowly add pure maple syrup until you form a dough pliable enough to make cookies
  • Remove a spoonful of the batter (1 ice cream sized scoop or 1 tablespoon will do) flatten to a one inch thick cookie and fly in cooking oil that has come to temperature.
  • Serve hot.
